Ode to Herr Rove: In Honor of the Fact that His Super PAC Crossroads GPS, Will Spend an Obscene Amount of Money on Behalf of Republican Candidates Over the Next Year (and gee, aren’t they worth it?)

English: Karl Rove Assistant to the President,...

Karl Rove, something to scrape off your shoe

What flows through the sewers

What stops up the loo

The discharge in the boil

The snot from runny nose

The canker sore upon the lip

The fungus ‘tween the toes

The bile in the liver of a corpse dead of cirrhosis

The presence of the ghoul

The ugliest, the grossest

The hemorrhoid of assholes

The ooze from out the rash

The pus squeezed from the pimple

The maggots in the trash

The pustule filled with purulence, the odor of bad breath

The stench of suppuration

From decomposing death

The smell of cesspool feculence

The stink of dirty bung

The essence of ordure

The malodor of dung

The carrion, the lesions, the discharge, the decay

The detritus and the garbage

The rancid foul breathed bray

The trail of putrefaction

The fumes of rotted spew

All this springs to mind Karl Rove

E’re we deign to think of you

  2. Don’t be so soft spoken, Tony, how do you really feel ? Somehow the descriptiveness reminded me of the messes on an episode of Horders

  6. While I am far from a fan of Karl Rove, money corrupts both parties. I would encourage to learn more about our Federal Reserve system of banking, created by the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. For example the initial primary task of the Federal Reserve was to maintain the value/purchasing power of the dollar. In other words, a private banking cartel was founded to prevent inflation. For well over the first 100 years the United States experienced almost no inflation but since the Federal Reserve act we have had massive inflation or dollar devaluation. $1 in 1913 purchased about the same as $20 today. Proponents argue that the dollar devaluation is not a concern since wages have increased accordingly. As you are aware, that “increase” in wages has not been the case accross the board and has a major negative impact on the poor. Where has the middle class gone? See the track record of the Fed. Democrats including Jimmy Carter as well as Republicans have given more responsibility to the Fed over the years and they have failed miserably always. Most recently in 2008. I think you would be appaled if you dug further and learned about this subject. Karl Rove is a pawn. The Federal Reserve is where to power and influence is. Follow the money…

      • A bishop is probably right. There are lots of bishops and they are similarly distributed between each party. They all have the same agenda. That agenda is a majority for their party (not serving you and I). The Democrats have controlled the White House and both houses of congress and things did not improve. The Republicans have enjoyed the same majority and things did not improve. Why?

I understand that you and most of your readers like the rhetoric of one party over the other. That is clear. I am focused on results and both parties have failed their constituants miserably.

The Queen is the Fed and another goal of the Federal Reserve, added by Jimmy Carter, was to achieve full employment in the USA. Although the formula to calcualate unemployment has changed (to make it look better), the real results have been a failure. A major failure. The poor have suffered more than the rich here as well. Ben Bernake and Alan Greenspan have done more to damage the USA than George Bush and Karl Rove combined. George Bush is in the conversation of worst presidents in American History.

The bottom line is that our problems can be fixed in one of two ways. We can abolish the Fed or we can keep the fed and wait for a collapse at some point. At that point there will be chaos and the poor will suffer the most.

    • Tom, it’s all true what you say…well – perhaps you leave out the years of Republican obstructionism – even right from the beginning when the Dems had the “illusion”of a majority. i urge you to look at:
      http://www.brookings.edu/papers/2010/1104_obama_galston.aspx

again, much of what you say has merit, but realistically, until we change things we have 2 choices at present. Democratic or Republican. i cannot in good conscience vote for any republican in this race. thanks for what is always a thoughtful comment. continue…

      • What do you perceive as the end game in your scenario? You are acknowledging that the best part about Democrats is that they are the lesser of 2 evils (in your opinion). Is it ok to simply have things worsen at a slower pace? Extend the charade a little longer? Everyone needs to vote them all out or by default we then choose collapse at some point and that is the greater of the 2 evils. There will be suffering either way but with collapse, we will have chaos in our streets. For major issues (money and to a lesser extent war) Republicans and Democrats they are the same party for the most part. I commend Obama for “ending” Iraq but our military is still over-extended and he is not doing enough. I am a reformed Republican. I will be voting for a third party this year. I can only control myself but I can hope that others follow. We have $15 trillion in debt. We are running a $tillion defecit every year and we have anywhere from $45-$70 trillion in unfunded future liabilities. We need to stop it now. Neither Obama nor Romney are interested. We will long for the days when we could just debate the issues.

    • Tom, while i applaud your 3rd party vote of conscience, i say if we give Obama a Dem congress, the course you are after will be embarked upon…call me a dreamer. continue…

  7. Ah Tony, you’ve outdone yourself on this one. It’s so on the money it’s not even funny–except that it is, too. And I think Michelle’s Wikipedia idea is great, too.

    Thanks again!

  12. Once again, so well done! But I think we need to edit Wikipedia so that every vile word you used will then show a picture of Karl. Yes? And this is now my official reference for when I need a line to perfectly describe someone just as foul. Love it!
