The man had a gun and a woody
The kid had tea, Skittles, and a hoodie
But the kid’s skin was brown
In a white part of town
He couldn’t’a been up to any good, could he?
It was All-Star week, NBA heaven
Half-time the kid shopped 7 -11
The rain came from the sky
The hoodie kept the kid dry
But his Skittles so look like a weapon
At least to this Zimmerman schmuck
Who divined that this child was a buck
Who of course had no right
To be out this time of night
Anywhere! – per this Zimmerman fuck
Who claims he shot in “self defense”
A claim which defies common sense
Since he was running like wild
After the child
Whose fear must have just been intense
This dumb rent-a-cop loony toon
Called this innocent kid “fucking coon”
Wrestled him down
On the cold and wet ground
And just one got up – this buffoon
This worth nothing bigoted hater
This wannabe cop emulator
Just took this child’s breath
Consigned him to death
On a whim – yet this foul perpetrator
Still hasn’t been brought to the dock
Still sits a free man with his Glock
While a whole nation mourns
And the Martins are torn
By a loss that has left them in shock
Were it my son I just might be bound
To buy me a gun and some rounds
Get a Florida Permit
Hunt down this piece of shit
Cap his head twice and claim “stand your ground”
And the Koch Bro’s backed NRA gun laws
Say the right to “concealed carry” is all yours
‘Cause Trayvon or his “bros”
His “homies” or “hos”
Are bringin’ their Skittles to your door
And Geraldo Rivera the putz
And Hannity his Fox brother nut
Say “hoodies” are why
This child had to die
In this “accident” – ACCIDENT? WHUT???
We are about to debase
What justice we still have re race
If we don’t address this
If we don’t arrest this
Monster – we’re a fucking disgrace!

Barking In The Dark 
Seems to me this is murder of an innocent man by perhaps, if I’m kind, a deranged nutter. I don’t understand why there is so much debate. OK, innocent until proven guilty, but shocking after the shocking “crime” is lack of arrest or retribution. Where does society go if there is no process of law to curtail these situations? Is there to be open season on anyone you don’t like ? Scary.

I heard the police tapes of when the “shooter” was chasing this young man and the Police told, not asked, told him twice not to pursue him anymore. He did not listen and now a young man is dead..senseless murder..the world is going mad..
