THE SHRILL- NESS OF VICTIMIZING, THE AGONY OF DE FEET IN THE MOUTH, THE STENCH OF BULLSHIT!

As of this writing 78 percent of all of Trump’s fact-checked claims have been scored “mostly false” or worse. And, 60 percent of that number have been rated “pants-on-fire lies!

This is taking the art of bullshitting to hitherto unseen historic heights. Well, maybe Herodotus – known as “the father of lies” – may have approached this low-water mark – maybe. Trump, however, is in a class by himself when it comes to cynically blatant lies sprayed from his mouth in a manic and incoherent “flight of ideas” manner. In short, this person inhabits a world that does not exist.

To begin to enumerate his amazing and unparalleled prowess at bullshitting would make a list so long as to keep me from too many meals – so let’s just mention a few of the most egregious fantastic works of bullshit art he is credited with.

“Hey, I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering.”

Uh huh. Sure they were Donald.

“Out of 67 counties (in Florida), I won 66, which is unprecedented. It’s never happened before.”

Except of course when John Kerry won all 67 counties; Al Gore won all 67 for the Democrats and George W. Bush won all 67 for the Republicans. Further, In 1996, Bob Dole took 66 of 67 counties for the GOP primary and the 67th was a tie between Dole and Pat Buchanan in Washington County.

“There’s a tremendous tax that we pay when we (American businesses) go into China, whereas when China sells to us there’s no tax.” 

Chinese exporters are taxed when they sell in the United States.

“You know, I look at what’s happening in Wisconsin with the numbers, the job numbers, the trade numbers, how it’s a stagnant economy, how they owe $2.2 billion in terms of their budget.”

Wisconsin’s general fund is currently projected to have a positive balance when its current two-year budget cycle ends next year, according to an analysis by nonpartisan budget experts.

Trump; in his social media posts re the man who rushed the stage in Dayton, Ohio, the man “had chatter about ISIS, or with ISIS.”

Trump was fooled by a hoax video!

“You have Japan, where the cars come in by the hundreds of thousands, they pour off the boats. …We send them like nothing. We send them nothing, by comparison, nothing.”

The United States exported $62 billion worth of goods to Japan last year.

“I’m self-funding my campaign. I’m not taking money. … I’m not taking. I spent a lot of money. I don’t take.”

As of Jan. 31, his campaign had accepted $7.5 million from donors not named Donald J. Trump.

“I’m already in for $30 million cash.”

According to POLITICO; As of then he had only contributed $250,318, plus the loan of $17.5 million.”

“I think I have $50 million of negative ads against me in Florida. $50 million. Somebody said $50 million.”

As of March 11, outside groups had spent $15 million in Florida.

Trump; the Trump winery is “the largest winery on the East Coast.”

It’s not even the largest in Virginia! Okay, you might say; harmless this one – but it is so indicative of how far he will and must go in order to pump up his fragile insecure ego and validate his overweening narcissism.

And, as an aside, one wonders why doesn’t he outsource this bullshit factory to China too – as the Trump brand does with his clothing factories? Ivanka Trump’s merchandise line links to 838 products – 628 of them imported. Of those, 354 are from China, a country that Donald Trump often says takes advantage of the large U.S. trade deficit. This would be fine except for Trump’s railing against American companies such as the air-conditioner maker Carrier.

When Carrier announced it was moving 1,400 jobs from a plant in Indianapolis to Monterrey, Mexico, Trump wrote on Facebook:

“We cannot allow this to keep happening. It will NOT happen under my watch.”

More bullshit because, of course, Donald J. Trump signature men’s dress shirts are made in his factories in China, Bangladesh or “imported,” meaning they were made in his factories abroad. And, most Donald J. Trump ties are also made in China. And some Donald J. Trump suits are also made in his Chinese factories.

From NPR here is some choice bullshit from yesterday’s speech to The Detroit Economic Club:

“Hillary Clinton short-circuited again – to use a now famous term – when she accidentally told the truth and said she wanted to raise taxes on the middle class.”

Politifact has rated this claim “pants on fire,” but Trump continues to say it at events, including in this highly scripted speech. Clinton has campaigned extensively on not raising taxes on the middle class. Still Trump’s campaign has circulated a misleading video with a caption saying she said she wants to raise taxes on the middle class, but you can hear she says “we aren’t going to raise taxes on the middle class”

And, in the same speech: “Data shows that upstate actually lost jobs a lot them during Clinton’s first term. In other words, she was all talk, no action, upstate New York is a disaster. What’s happened to upstate New York. And NAFTA, which her husband signed, is a very, very big reason.”

Bill Clinton did sign NAFTA, but it’s misleading to attribute that policy entirely to him. In fact, it was negotiated under George H.W. Bush, who signed it in 1992, as the Washington Post’s Fact Checker has pointed out. After Congress passed it, Clinton then signed it into law in 1993

And:”Finally, no family will have to pay the death tax. American workers have paid taxes their whole lives, and they should not be taxed again at death – it’s just plain wrong. And most people agree with that. We will repeal it.”

The death tax, or estate tax, applies this year to estates with combined assets exceeding $5.45 million. That applies to very few people – around 1 in 500 estates were subject to the tax last year, according to the Tax Policy Center.

And: “Hillary Clinton will enact the TPP. As sure as you’re sitting there. Her donors will make sure of it. A vote for Hillary Clinton is a vote for TPP – and it’s also a vote for NAFTA.”

Clinton and Trump alike are in favor of renegotiating NAFTA, as the Washington Post’s Fact Checker reports.

And: “We will put new American metal into the spine of this nation. It will be American hands that rebuild this country, and it will be American energy – mined from American sources – that powers this country. It will be American workers who are hired to do the job.”

This is a frequent campaign promise from Trump, but his own hiring practices haven’t always reflected this view. A recent Buzzfeed article detailed Trump’s effort to bring in foreign guest workers for his Mar-a-Lago resort. When asked about this, Trump has said it is hard to get enough American workers for these seasonal jobs.

I could go on forever but we all get the idea. This man is a veritable font of bullshit! He is a bullshit factory! Unfortunately for us he keeps this factory here – stinking up the air we breathe! He is the “yuge”ass that keeps on shitting  – in public! It is who he is and what he does. It is in his very nature to make “facts” up out of thin air – and to make every single thing that may contain a shred of truth way more than it actually is. Bigger, better, more expensive…and, appropriate to the games now being staged in Rio, he is the Olympics of Bullshit! And we all know the motto of the Olympics; Citius – Altius – Fortius.

In Trump’s case these words mean Faster bullshit – Higher bullshit and Stronger bullshit.

So…

Yeah…Who ya’ gonna believe?
