WHAT A FUCKING NERVE!

If there was any doubt in anyone’s mind that Donald Trump is a cynical piece of shit, Saturday’s display of arrogant empty bloviating in Detroit in front of the Great Faith Ministries International church should serve to dispel that doubt.

He read his remarks from a prepared script which he said he wrote himself…Sure ya did Donnie. Sure ya did. Lie number one.

In regard to this prepared script; I think we should all find it extremely interesting that when he speaks words of divisiveness and hate he doesn’t need a prepared script. He just lets it fly. Is this because these thoughts and words flow naturally from within his heart – from his mindset? On the other hand, when he has to speak words of love and respect he needs a script! Is this because – in this case referring to an African American audience – these thoughts and words of love and respect do not naturally reside in his heart and mind and both he, and his handlers, are afraid of what ugly untoward thing he may say?

I am not black, but just as a member of the human race no matter what color, I am infuriated by the nerve of this con man to stand in front of a black congregation in Detroit and lie straight faced as to how much he cares and is concerned for the well-being of people of color. And, what makes it worse is he has so little regard for this audience that he thinks that they are stupid enough to actually believe this crap.

This is a man who, in the early 70’s was sued by The Justice Department twice, for violating the Fair Housing Act of 1968 in denying blacks rentals in 14,000 apartments merely because of their color. And, even after this suit was resolved the pattern of discrimination continued.

You may say; hey – that was back in the 70’s. Have you been listening to his poisonous invective against immigrants, Mexicans specifically? Did you hear how he impugned the honor of Federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel? He implied that Judge Curiel, who was presiding over a class action suit against the scam Trump University, could not render a fair judgement because of his Mexican heritage?

In the 80’s, Kip Brown, a former employee at Trump’s Castle, accused another of Trump’s businesses of discrimination. “When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor.”

In 1989, in a controversial case that’s been characterized as a modern-day lynching, four black teenagers and one Latino teenager – the “Central Park Five”- were accused of attacking and raping a jogger in New York City. Trump immediately took charge in the case, running an ad in local papers demanding, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” The teens’ convictions were later vacated, and the city paid $41 million in a settlement to the teens. But Trump argued that because they were probably, according to him, involved in other criminal activity that night, they were treated too well.

In 1991, a book by John O’Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump’s criticism of a black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” Trump at first denied the remarks, but later said in a 1997 Playboy interview that “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.”

Also in the 90’s, the New Jersey Casino Control Commission fined the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino $200,000 because managers would remove black dealers at the request of a certain big-time gambler. The fine was upheld on appeal.

In 2000, in opposition to a casino proposed by the St. Regis Mohawk tribe, which he saw as a financial threat to his casinos in Atlantic City, Trump secretly ran a series of ads suggesting the tribe had a “record of criminal activity [that] is well documented.”

And, let us not forget that Trump played a big role in pushing false rumors that Barack Obama – the country’s first black president – was not born in the US. He even sent investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama’s birth certificate. Obama later released his birth certificate, calling Trump a “carnival barker.”

Each of these events by itself wouldn’t be so bad, but taken all together – as a record of a person’s actions – constitutes a clear pattern of discrimination against people of color, minorities and other non-whites who Donald Trump sees as impediments to his doing whatever it is he wants to do lawful or unlawful.

And, now I am hearing on TV – from some members of the African American pundit community – that this signaled a genuine effort to connect with the black community??? FYI; I have some swamp land in Florida you might be interested in buying.

Donald Trump obviously thinks that he is superior to most people. That he is smarter, slicker and just plain better. But, especially he thinks he is far superior to minorities. To his way of thinking they are like insects to be brushed off of the great man’s coat. And, he obviously thinks that we are all so stupid that we cannot see right through his lies, his pandering, his insulting insincere phoniness.

Donald Trump certainly is genuine. He is a genuine 24 carat diamond encrusted piece of shit.
