It’s weird watching all this from over here. Like peaking over the fence at the new neighbours you’re not sure of. I do feel for you guys. We go and vote to leave Europe and the US trumps us. Once the flurry begins to calm down I am concerned that the US seems currently to be led by someone who is being openly disrespected by other world leaders (see Kenny and Merkel, for instance). I don’t recall any time when foreign leaders would turn up and give speeches, on your doorstep, in opposition to what the US stands for. It’s a strange thing to see.
A friend said to me recently, “We all survived Reagan. We can survive this.” Hang on, guys.
