Newt – Part 3 or: The Ballad of Nit Goongrich – Compassionate Truthteller

Let’s put school kids in janitor’s shoes

And start ‘em out young cleaning loos

We must now make haste

For the future they’ll face

(I’m just looking at all avenues)

How can anyone say I am hateful?

It’s a well-paying job just be grateful

Hey – now pizza’s a veg

You can have a nice wedge

And hot dogs and beans by the plateful

But Callista and I must have foie

Or else we feel terribly blah

But you have your Cheetos

Beef jerky, Doritos

You say you’re in need? I say ha!

He’s a man aptly named is our Newt

He’s the Lizard of Ooze in a suit

He’s the grinch who steals yule

A smooth talking ghoul

A well heeled world-class prostitute

Damn I hope Goongrich’ll run

For shark-like comedians he’s chum

A foot in the mouth pest

More baggage than Southwest

Hey, Nit, take the money and run

P.S.

I’m not a lobbyist

I’m a corporate hobbyist

I was Freddy Mac’s “historian”

You don’t need to be worryin’

That 600 thou

Was for telling them how

To make loans free of strife

I swear on my wife

  1. I’m still shocked that this guy is getting even the slightest bit of support for his run for the oval office. Thanks for putting into such fine words what so many of us think of this guy. I think the Huffington Post should give you your own column 🙂

  3. “A well heeled world-class prostitute”
Waiting for CNN to run with this quote. Neatly says it all.

Another fine barium enema revealing the festering sores of the body politic.

  5. Well done! Newt is unbelievable. Like a candidate put together by the Onion. I did like what someone said “Newt is a dumb person’s idea of what a smart person sounds like.”

  7. I learn so much here; & I am thrilled to be armed with the knowledge I can point to congress the next time the girls complain about not being allowed to have school lunches.

  8. You’ve captured such a good likeness of ol’ Nit here. I hope he feels that cold breeze, too. I know — wishful thinkin’.
