When they cannot find clean water there

Finally, we have the adoption

Of the GOP feared “nuclear option”

They are no longer able

To take names off the table

By filibuster, jetsam and flotsam

These old white grey gits

Have been putting our tits

In the wringer for far far too long

By the idiot rule

That made these jerks drool

That passage took 60 votes strong

Now a margin of one

Gets needed things done

And the President’s judges will pass

And Mitch McConnell whines

‘Cause his partners-in-crimes

Have lost one big way to harass

Their penchant to jam

To put up a dam

To blocked anything from Obama

No matter what

It was dead on the spot

In their hatefully grim melodrama

And they didn’t even need

To stand there and read

For our business to be “filibustered”

No, it just took

The “F” word of a crook

To crap in America’s custard

Here’s an astonishing one. The Republicans filibustered the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act — basically, healthcare for 9/11 heroes. Every Republican senator voted to filibuster this bill.

So who are they who will cast votes

For such who will slash all our throats

Who’ve no other plan

Than destroying a man

Whose skin is a tad darker coat
