Vice-President Al Gore of Tennessee is the one Democrat that can almost certainly beat Donald Trump.
Gore is a Southern Baptist, a former Vice-President, an avowed environmentalist, a Nobel Prize winner, a veteran, a man of unassailable character and integrity, a still-young 71, and a man who already has been elected President by the popular vote – only to have his victory taken from him by a partisan Supreme Court.
He is a man with a long and impressive record of political accomplishment as a Congressman, a Senator, and a Vice-President. He is the author of many important books – including “An Inconvenient Truth: The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About it.” The documentary of “An Inconvenient Truth” won an Oscar.

The Democratic Party needs to draft Al Gore as it’s candidate for the 2020 Presidential election.

Yeah, this won’t happen. He’s been in post-VP retirement for a long time now and can do pretty much whatever he wants. No way he’d give that up and have to live being attacked by the orange buffoon.

P.S. Michelle, you know…i’ve been thinking about my knee-jerk response in agreement with your reasoned comment and…i dunno…i think Al Gore is a man with such a deep seated sense of duty and responsibility that now, thinking about what i wrote, i believe he would answer the call. that he would understand that he must do this because our country’s democracy stands teetering in the balance. So, respectfully, i say again, it would be to our country’s great benefit to draft Al Gore to stand for President. continue…
