The latest for me was a position paper the Authors’ Guild wrote protesting the defunding of a public library in Michigan because its collection includes books by LGBTQ authors. A public library!! This after these cretins harrassed the librarian out of her job.

If the Republicans regain Congress it will not go well for this country for more of the very actions you have outlined here. I will die soon, and I also have the comfort of knowing that none of this matters in the Universe’s grand scheme of things. However, I know others do not have this long-term view. So, I fear for the young in this country who will have their lives to live out in this climate of greed, fear, and hate.
