I’ve Been Given the 7 X 7 Award – Again, I Owe it All to My Mother’s Mah Jongg Group

So -Here’s how this works: the awardee selects seven previous blog posts that represent certain categories: Most Beautiful, Most Helpful, Most Popular, Most Controversial, Most Surprisingly Successful, Most Underrated, Most Prideworthy, and then you pass the award along to seven new recipients.

Unfortunately here’s where I must make a departure. With your kind permission I’m not going to categorize the blogs I’m choosing – which I think are quite worthwhile in each of all the above categories at different times – depending on how they feel that particular day.

    I like the way you delivered this. It has really surprised me how many awards go around this blog space, but I’d never heard of the 7 x 7. I felt like something obscure and clicked on your – ugh! I forgot what it was! The category – an offbeat one (maybe it was offbeat). I might look at some of the posts you name too.

    The one thing I like about the award thing though is that you can ignore it if you want. That’s good. I’ve got 4 at the moment in my inbox and I’m just not sure whether to do them. Of course, I’d do them all at once like I did that video thing – but I wouldn’t do a video of them. Sort of a mention I think. I do feel a bit obliged to accept, but it’ the finding the good blogs to refer out.

    ANYhooooooooooo, was just dropping in to see what BarkingInTheDark is up to. You’ve got a heap of very varied content. You know, you’ve got a great page.

    My dear . . . you are suppose to link back to YOUR most beautiful, most helpful, most popular, et al posts and give the award to the other blogs too. So, you aren’t off the hook yet! I want a list (I refraining from using a little smiley face here).

    Would you, could you possibly let us know which of your posts you feel meet the most criteria?

    I totally support your right to pass on the award as you see fit. The way I count, it comes up to seven.

    I’m feeling awfully remiss at doing up my own pay it forward post for the one you kindly lobbed my way before, but I promise to set aside Tuesday to search for the right words. I’ve been feeling more comfortable with fiction and veiled truth lately but I’ll figure out my reticence and put myself in gear. I have some very cool blogging friends to mention, so it’s about time I did. Thanks again!
