‘O bring us another
Hail fellow well met
Somebody who’s jovial and chummy
A moron without
A thought in his head
‘O Lord won’t you bring us a dummy
-From the prayer of Grover
This virus call Norquist
Who’s begging for your fist
To punch the smirk off of his mug
This traitor who says
Just give us a Prez
Rubber stamping what’s passed by us thugs
This vile piece of vermin
Whose traitorous sermon
To CPAC is close to sedition
This loathsome bottom feeder
Just a suit to back all our positions
This cynical exhibit
Like a raised middle digit
Saying to our face “we think you suck you
Are nothing but mites
And we piss on your rights”
Hey Grover, bend over punk – fuck you!
I’d see you in chains
You’re a blight, big shit stains
On democracy plain pure and simple
You should be tried for treason
You’re something needs squeezin’
Or lanced – like another pus pimple
You’re a fucking creep Grover
I’d see you bent over
A barrel and assfucked to death
We’ll all be better off
When you take that last cough
And gasp out your last dying breath
And I know that you won’t be
Someone to RIP
You’ll suffer and linger – oh goody
If hell is for real
I know that your deal
Will be bitch to some brutha in a hoody
So fuck you you sick fuck
Get hit by a big truck
(You need to be gone from our planet)
Or take a boat ride with Al
And Vito and Sal
And you – with your legs cased in granite
And if ever I were
To be where you’re interred
I would stop – not to rant or to rave
But to unzip my fly
And pull out my guy
And piss on your bloodsucker’s grave

Posted by barkinginthedark | March 1, 2012, 6:21 amForget about Grover Norquist. Instead, call out the 238 Representatives and 41 Senators who have signed his Taxpayer Protection Pledge. (atr.org) Signing this Pledge solemnly binds a lawmaker to oppose any and all tax increases, and no exceptions are permitted. In signing this Pledge, lawmakers appear to violate Rule 6 of the Code of Ethics for Government Service which states “Make no private promises of any kind binding upon the duties of office…” Call on these lawmakers to publicly renounce this Pledge. Read about the Code of Ethics for Government Service at Pages 20 and 436 of the House and Senate Ethics Manuals, respectively. ethics.house.gov and ethics.senate.gov

He can’t economically or philosophically explain or defend his stance against taxes in any way shape or form, but yet he labors on and on and on, destroying America’s economy because of the government’s inability to create infrastructure, train for the future, or provide safety nets that will prevent greater cost at a later date.

And the only thing about Norquist that I’m looking forward to (ok, there’s two things) is the expression on his face when his guy looses by a hideous majority. Like the kind of majoritythat is big enough to be called a mandate.
The other thing I’m looking forward to is pissing on his grave. Because that just sounds like justice.

Posted by She speaks.... | February 16, 2012, 1:24 amthe thing is Michelle, they are this arrogant and this dismissive of us peasants that they just don’t care…and they don’t care who knows they don’t care because they believe they can rig the game anyway…the corp money, the restrictive voting laws, the gerrymandered districts, the rigged machines etc. plus they do not possess the “shame” gene…and, most importantly, this is EXACTLY who they are. frightening eh? we must somehow not only re-elect Obama, but also elect a Dem congress, AND somehow, get an amendment to get $ out of our elections…it’s a daunting task. but we too are who WE are, and we will continue…

Another winner Tony, and may the universe bless you for your ballads and insight to rile the lethargic masses from their ignorance and acceptance of the status quo, forgetfulness and insanity that is the true agenda of the neo-CONS attempting to subvert our political -and style of life- rights in this country.
This cretin makes me ill, and why more people have not taken him and his twisted statements and actions to task is beyond me.
Bravo my friend.

Posted by barkinginthedark | February 16, 2012, 12:23 amHit a nerve, did he?
I watched his speech and I was slack-jawed in shock at his hubris, his disdain for the U.S. and all it stands for, for his complete arrogance in his unwavering position – No Taxes. I was so angry by the end that I said something about him that I’ve never said about anyone and I can’t even repeat here.
And then Sarah Palin took the stage. It was like a double dose of poison.
I want to know how in the hell Grover Norquist, a man with apparent psychological issues, has become so powerful. The real question, of course, is for whom does he speak? Who funds him?
Rock on with your ballads, Tony. You give voice to my anger.
