The GOP Convention: A Never-Before-Seen Television Milestone

Last night at the GOP Convention of racist, delusional, gullible white people, the Mitt Romney “brain” trust chose, by way of introducing Mr. Romney to the television audience at large, a rumpled, rambling, ventriloquist who – in an entertainment first – was his own dummy.

  1. Hi Tony! ….made me think of the improv exercises I used to ask my students to do…but not in front of the entire nation, world, whatever….

Currently i’m reading Franzen (not really loving it but will continue as the man can write very well), Howard Jacobson (good!) and also working through Jack Kerouc (interesting but not my cup of tea as we say in rural Canada…)….a change in reading habits from gothic psychological mysteries ( some of us in rural Canada like that cup of tea….)

    take good care of yourself.

  2. Summed it all up!
Though maybe Romney was just the dummy, and the ventriloquist was the invisible guy in the chair?
