LEARNING OUR A B C’s

The evangelicals who remain steadfast in their unflagging support for Donald Trump despite his demonstrably manifest unfitness for the Presidency – or any other position in any government – are people who should now be referred to as The A B C’s, The American Bullshit Christians.

The tortured logic exhibited by these bible thumping hypocrites to try to squeeze any semblance of rationale into and out of their narrowl minds in order to justify their backing of this piece of inhuman garbage is laughable – especially in light of Mr. Trump’s own words regarding immigrants, women, people of color and anyone who might disagree with his ignorant views.

Christ himself is agonizing all over again.

Any pretense these people might have had to religiosity has now gone out the window – along with the sanctimonious moral high ground they have always tried to occupy from which mount they looked down their noses upon us mere mortals and our sinful lives. Sinful because we do not follow their bible-based babble.

And now the emperor is naked.

Now their glass house is shattered by a thousand stones.

Now, in the wake of the ugly videotaped words of the man himself, these evangelicals still back Donald J. Trump for the President of our country – and thereby reveal themselves for the phonies they are – and have probably always been.

These A B C’s have henceforth forfeited any right they might have thought they had to dictate to any of us about how we should act and what is, in their warped view, morally acceptable. They should be ashamed of themselves but, in light of their continued support of this amoral monster and, in view of the fact that to now shun him is a slam-dunk and sadly, for them,would be a somewhat courageous act, they cannot bring themselves to do this. Obviously they lack the gene for shame – and, worse, they are moral cowards.

And now – when they try to tell any woman anywhere what she may do with her own body regarding an unwanted pregnancy they should be laughed at. And, when evangelicals insist that the members of the LGBT community all exist against the “will of God” they should be dismissed outright as the hypocritical self-serving amoral charlatans they are – much like their new paragon of virtue Donald.

Though many of us may not be religious per se, many of us are  spiritual. However, I am now certain that many of us have far more moral fiber than any single one of these pretend “Christians.”

And, also far more respect for what is in The Ten Commandments, far more intelligence – and far, far more love of country.

P.S., Gee…what a terrible pity if Donald J. Trump destroys the Republican Party…NOT!
